Will Sheff and the rest of Okkervil River are quickly back with a new single called “Lost Coastlines” from their new album “The Stand Ins”. You can stream the song below thanks to pitchforkmedia. The song has duo vocals from Sheff and Jonathan Meiburg who recently left the band to focus on Shearwater (who I will be posting about shortly.) The song has some great lyrics, and sort of has a sad/dark tone to it. Good preview of the new album. Sounds great to me! The Stand In’s comes out September 9th.
