It is good to hear that my favorite band The Arctic Monkeys are recording some new stuff. They haven’t dissapointed me yet. They look to continue their strong push by deciding to fly the boys from Sheffield to Cali to produce a few tracks with them. The direct quote from nme.com is:

“He said that it had not yet been determined whether the songs would be released as an album or a single, as they were just experimenting at this early stage.

I think it’s going to work out great, Homme told NME.COM. They want to submerge themselves in a place that’s the opposite of where they’re from and what they’re used to.

I think we’re just going to start by doing a couple of tracks. No pressure. The goal is to make something that they dig so much that everyone else can too.”

This sounds pretty badass to me, and if all goes to plan we could have some hard dark arctic monkeys tracks. Hopefully if they all like what they make and enjoy working with each other, Homme can sign on to produce their whole 3rd album. This could really put the Arctic Monkeys in a place where not many other bands have gotten to. 3 amazing albums in a row. Could it possibly get any better than this?
