Word around the streets is that the Smashing Pumpkins (if you want to call them that anyone) want to release their new single ‘G.L.O.W.’ on the video game “Guitar Hero: World Tour.” With CD sales slumping the band feels that they can spread there music out more effectively by putting it on a market that is actually doing well.

The song can be bought with “1979” and “The Everlasting Gaze,” as a download for the installation. The song is described as “Built on a thick, Gothic bass line, with squalling guitars surrounding a pleading Corgan vocal.”

I have a funny feeling after one hour the song will be all over the web. I guess they are trying to stay relevant the best they can.
