Animal Collective have told the world that their new album is called ‘Merriweather Post Pavilion’ and it will be released January 29th, 2009. It was recorded in the same studio that The Walkmen record in (Sweet Tea Studios in Oxford, Mississippi). They also told us the track listing:

It took me a while to get into them, but I can see now why they are so highly regarded. I am pumped for this!
