Bloc Party Adds Bonus Tracks To “Intimacy”

By Will, October 23rd 2008 — with 1 comment MP3

Bloc Party’s third album hopefully has settled for most people by now. I think by now people are realizing whether they LIKE Bloc Party or if they LIKE Silent Alarm. That seems to be the two different types of Bloc Party fans.

Anyway, the physical release of “Intimacy” is actually a lot different than the digital release that we saw 2 months ago. The U.S. version of Intimacy has 4 extra songs. ‘Talons’, ‘Letter To My Son’ and ‘Your Visits Are Getting Shorter’, as well as the ever familiar ‘Flux’. So now Bloc Party has added another whole set of songs to make “Intimacy” a hopefully deeper album. Does this help or hurt the album? Does it add more depth, or just drag it along? There is only one way to find out.

Behold the final tracklisting:

“Ares”
“Mercury”
“Halo”
“Biko”
“Trojan Horse”
“Signs”
“One Month Off”
“Zephyrus”
“Talons”
“Better Than Heaven”
“Ion Square”
“Letter To My Son”
“Your Visits Are Getting Shorter”
“Flux”
