It wasn’t until I read this press release that I realized the infamous ex-Libertine tabloid king known as Pete Doherty is now going by Peter Doherty for his solo album. Interestingly it is listed as Pete on sites like play.com but on his myspace it is listed as Peter. Which is it ??? If it is Peter than I guess Peter is finally trying to straighten things out. Good for him either way. On a side note…tomorrow Pete turns 30 years old. Wow where has the time gone?
I posted one track off of his upcoming album Grace/Wastelands already and now I have another track for you guys. This time I give you “New Love Grows On Trees”. The track sounds like Pete sat down in a dark room and just spilled his heart out with an acoustic by his side. I am once again sold on another Pete solo song. This album could shape up quite nicely!
