It is time to discover Discovery. Ok that was a bit cheesy. Back to being a serious blogger….Many people say that Vampire Weekend and Ra Ra Riot both have similar sounds. While I don’t really say that, both bands had a great 2008 and seem to be great mainstays for the new decade. Well now members of both bands have teamed up together for an R&B/Electronic based project. Get to know the side project of Rostam Batmanglij (Vampire Weekend) and Wes Miles (Ra Ra Riot). Their band Discovery has been for a year or so, but they apparently are getting the project started again. Here are two tracks from the band that I know of so far. If I find any more I will keep you updated. They are pretty cool. Osaka Loop Line is the standout out of the two, the vocals and snyths combine for pop excellence.
