Welcome to the 2nd post of dig up the rarities. This time I got the wounderful Phoenix covers Air’s very own track “Playground Love”.
**EDIT** - My awesome readers have pointed out that the lead singer or Phoenix Thomas Mars actually sang on the original Air version. I had no clue about this, thanks for the heads up!!
To tell you the truth I don’t remember where I found it. Regardless this is a really lovely track. It is stripped down and bare but that is the beauty of it. Very nice.

Thomas Mars did the vox on the original, so of course this sounds good.
THIS ISNT A COVER. Thomas Mars, the lead singer of Phoenix, sang the original vocals on the Air song under the pseudonym “Gordon Tracks.”
gives me shivers every time i listen to this song. so good.
k well I’m glad I’m not the only one familiar enough w/ the original to know that it features the lead singer from Phoenix, Thomas Mars (as Gordon Tracks) on vox. Anyone who is feeling this live version… GO CHECK OUT THE ORIGINAL. so amazing; one of my favorite songs, ever! That being said, thank you muchly WAWSTSF for putting this version up!
