[New] Eminem – Old Time’s Sake (Feat. Dr Dre)

Another new one from Relapse has dropped. This actually may be my favorite yet. I don’t know what it is about the track, maybe it is Dre but it sorta reminded me of the older Eminem. Which makes sense with the song title. I still don’t know how this album will churn out. I will remain optimistic….erm..

Ch-ch-ch-check it out!

I’m absolutely sick of Eminem. It’s hardly surprising this song is called Old Time’s Sake, because it’s the same same old crap. His lyrics aren’t quirky, they’re tiresome. There’s nothing remotely innovative or challenging about this kind of music. That’s why it predominately appeals to 13 year old boys. It’s a classic case of The Emporer’s New Clothes. The guy is sh*t. I’m also growing increasingly concerned about the extent to which people like him are starting to clog up the Hype Machine.

“Pac” is dead. “Em” might as well be. You need to be educated rafa1789. Rap is the lowest form of music. It’s down there with rnb and calypso. It sickens me the extent to which it has swamped the British charts over recent years. It has suffocated the life out of the British music industry and as a result, the true talent is struggling to break through. Rap’s sole purpose is to provide women (yes, ALL women. The pedestrian tempo of the tracks even accomodates the fatties.) the opportunity to perform the same generic dance in cloned nightclubs all over the country. Whatever happened to variety? Oh yeah, and to impress little 13 year old boys because “Em” says the “bad words” that mummy and daddy don’t allow them to hear. What exactly is it that you admire about some peroxide weasel bleating on about violence, b*tches, money and homosexuality? Waken up pal.
