Simian Mobile Disco are back with more banging electronic tunes. The duo of James Ford (producer of the Arctic Monkeys records), and James Anthony Shaw. They are set to release their 2nd album Temporary Pleasure on August 17th. The first single is already in my hands (aka my desktop) and it is rediculous. It is called “Audacity Of Huge” and I cannot argue with this choice of a first single. The song features Chris Keating of the great band Yeasayer.
It has a funky beat with really addictive vocals, that will stuck in your head all night. This is one of the better electronic songs that I have heard it a while. These guys are only going to get bigger and bigger. I never realized how critically acclaimed their debut album Attack Decay Sustain Release was. Good for them, great things are happening for these guys.
