Arctic Monkeys, Vampire Weekend on Guitar Hero 5

Guitar Hero has just announced the lineup of artists that are set to appear on the 5th edition of the game. Two of my favorite bands Arctic Monkeys and Vampire Weekend are surprisingly on the lineup. Some other cool additions are Gorillaz, The Raconteurs, My Morning Jacket, Kings Of Leon, and TV On The Radio. Indie music is moving in more and more each day!

This is great news for the bands, but I am going to get annoyed when people start referring to Arctic Monkeys as that band from Guitar Hero 5. Punches will be thrown!

I’m going to guess that Dancefloor is the selected track, but maybe they will go Brianstorm or something else?

You can check out the entire lineup here, or just read the entire list after the jump:

oh yes, this is great for all the lovers of these bands. but isn’t indie music getting more and more mainstream at the moment. i mean that is so absurd because indie is listened by people who really don’t want to be mainstream, right? :D
ah i want to be able to play this, damn it! :D i have to buy a wii or something :D
