Yeah Yeah Yeahs – Heads Will Roll (Passion Pit Remix)

By Will, July 5th 2009 — with 2 comments MP3 Remix

2009 has been very good to both the Yeah Yeah Yeah’s and Passion Pit. YYY’s have made a very strong comeback with their 3rd album It’s Blitz. While Passion Pit are the hottest new band of the year thanks to bloggers and the good old blog train. It’s Blitz had a dance groove to it, and Passion Pit have fine-tuned their electronic act. It is appropriate that PP took the time to remix one of the dance highlights of It’s Blitz “Heads Will Roll”.

Passion Pit’s revision of the track didn’t really do much for me. It just seemed to add some effects and slow it down. It’s a decent listen, but not a “spectacular’ remix. Oh wellz.

It will be on the “Heads Will Roll” single which is due 7/14.

Why does the PassionPit remix end so abruptly?

Have you heard the Heads Will Roll (Young Live -Starters Remix), Its pretty insane!
The Heads Will Roll (Legobeat Dark Cuts remix) changes things up a bit giving it kind of a two step beat.
