Discoverys album LP has been treating me and my friends very well this summer. Along with Phoenix, Passion Pit, and Franz Ferdinand, it seems to be part of our on-going summer ‘09 soundtrack.

I can tell its a good album because my “favorite” track changes every week. Currently my favorite would have to be “So Insane”. The track has so much going on, it is impossible to ignore it’s creativity.

It has tempo changes like you would not believe. It sounds like they pieced a few different songs together with the same intention kept in mind. This draws me back to it again, and again. There is just something so refreshing & fun about this track. It really gives off that true glow of a summer gem. If any track off LP, this track demonstrates their ability to crossover pop with indie. Not the easiest of tasks.

Discovery have put out one of the cooler summer records of recent memory. Play this while you your chilling in the pool with your friends, with the grill going on the side. This deserves to share your summers finest moments.

I can’t pimp this record enough. Some hate it, but most are loving it. Either way, I won’t sweat it!
