My girlfriend showed me this band a month ago and I am just getting to it now. God, why am I so behind on life?
The band is called Fools Gold. (Like that shitty movie!) This song is a bit on the world/African rock genre that seems to be the hottest new thing! It has a tropical beach vibe, with tangy guitars, that are begging you to dance. The vocals come in and your in tropical nirvana. “Surprise Hotel” is a really fun treat, perfect to play us out of this summer!

I discovered this great band when I was watching a show about afro pop on Arte, a french-german channel. There were also the Vampire Weekend on this show!
