[NEW] Jay-Z – We Off That (Feat. Drake)

New Jay-Z has said hello to the inter web. It is track #8 off of Jigga’s new album The Blueprint 3.

Honestly, I’m kinda disappointed with this one.. This hardly sounds like Jay-Z. This sounds like Jay-Z trying to sound more radio friendly, which he doesn’t need to do…at all. I don’t know who this Drake fella is (aside from the fact that he used to be on Degrassi, or still is??) but he doesn’t add to much, at least in my opinion. I believe Timbaland produced this one.

Will this song grow on me? Doesn’t seem too likely, but you never know….

[mp3] : Jay-Z – We Off That (Feat. Drake)

Here’s the full tracklisting for The Blueprint 3:

04 Run This Town [ft. Kanye West and Rihanna]
05 Empire State of Mind [ft. Alicia Keys]
06 Real As It Gets [ft. Young Jeezy]
07 On to the Next One [ft. Swizz Beatz]
08 Off That [ft. Drake]
09 A Star Is Born [ft. J. Cole]
10 Venus Vs. Mars
11 Already Home [ft. Kid Cudi]
12 Hate [ft. Kanye West]
13 Reminder
14 So Ambitious [ft. Pharrell]

(according to that, there is no MGMT track) …im starting to get nervous about this album. Am I the only one?

yo every since I saw the tracklisting with all these dorks, Empire Of The Sun? Mr. Hudson? J. Cole? and most regrettable the terrible hotshot Drake, who should never be mentioned in the same breath with Hova much less on a record with him. Blame Kanye for overdoing the flex. Pharrell & Timbaland are both well past their due date.

    cheers/yo

I don’t know about this Drake kid. I’m kind of tired of everyone hyping him so much. Sigh…this worries me. Is Jay-Z releasing another dud?

I wonder what his “benefit” concert is gonna be like… I guess we’ll all just have to watch it on fuse tonight and find out for ourselves since everyone i know couldn’t get tickets.

This makes me like him: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KZ3J1iKK5Mw&feature=channel_page and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tlmkTlUnNKc

    not all that other fuss.

  1. [...] 3 songs that Jay-Z does not have a featured guest. “Reminder”, just like “We Off That“, doesn’t do much for me. This doesn’t seem like real [...]
