This is old news to most, but it is worth posting nonetheless!

One of my most anticpated film’s for the fall season is Where The Wild Things are. If you are not familar with this classic children’s book, then you really were deprived as a child! The Spike Jonze film looks absolutely breathtaking.

The lovely Karen O of the Yeah Yeah Yeah’s was in charge of the film’s soundtrack. She enlisted musicians and friends (such as her YYY bandmates – duh) who she felt were right for the job. She calls him her kids.

The first single from the film’s soundtrack is “All Is Love” and you can stream it over at the films mysapce. Click here for the stream. This song is cute, and most importantly really good! It fits the nature of the film. Job well done Ms. O!!!

The single is available on August 25th. The whole soundtrack comes out September 29th.
