Have Editors been hanging out with Bloc Party? Who gave them the synths??
A new song has surfaced called “Papillon”, and it is very different from anything the Editors have ever done. It is very “new wave” and definitely a big departure from their old sound. I am not blown away, but I do like that they are trying something new. Not sure if his voice fits this type of music, but I will reserve full judgment for when I hear the rest of the record.
It will be off their upcoming 3rd album In This Light and On This Evening, which comes out on October 12th.
