New Vampire Weekend Album: Contra

Thank you god! Vampire Weekend have announced finally that their 2nd album Contra is coming out January 12th, next year!!!

My day just got 10x better!!!! I am dieing to hear their new stuff. I guarantee they do not disappoint! What a way to start 2010!!

i saw the cover (without the titles) hanging around at pitchfork as a banner. they also are releasing it on the same date as Merriweather Post Pavilion. they are using a lot of diferent samples in the live shows, so i think it will go a lot deeper. that’s not a bad thing!
