Arctic Monkeys – Diamonds Are Forever (Studio Version)

Being the Arctic Monkeys super fan that I am, I have seen their live Glastonbury cover of  Shirley Bassey’s “Diamonds Are Forever” a countless number of times. In the back of my mind, I was always wishing it came out officially on a studio release.

Little did I know that there has been one for a while. Their label domino released the Arctic’s awesome studio version of the Shirley Bassey cover, back in January of 2008 on their All The Rage compilation.

This cover is not to be missed. I can’t believe I let this studio version by me!

This is an absolutely brilliant cover! Arctic’s are one of a kind!!

    Ah! This excites me to no end. I, too, absolutely love the Glastonbury cover and have always wished for the real deal [even though arctic monkeys' quality live is impeccable]. Thanks so much for posting!!
