AH!!!! Finally the first leakage from my heavily anticipated debut solo album Phrazes For The Young, from The Strokes lead man Julian Casablancas. The song is called “11th Dimension, and holy shit, it’s really good!!
It sounds very futuristic. A lot of cool sounds going on. Tribal influenced drums, clean synths, funky bassline, Strokes guitars, and of course, the wonderful voice of Julian. The chorus is an eargasm!!
This is a really cool song, I am very impressed!! Julian sounds fresh. It sounds even better than I hoped. He sounds like a new born man!!!
It cuts off at the end, but it will do for now. Where is the rest of this album?? I’ve had this playing 3 times in a row, it’s that good! How about a 4th?
Yeah, it’s that good!

THANK YOU so much for this. man i’ve been missing the strokes like crazy for the past few years. anything from any band member will pretty much do right now.
Will, I am sad to admit that I was JUST as surprised as you were that this song sounded so good. I dunno what got into me, IT’S JULES.
those stupid live videos tarnished my image of him, but this is redemption x 21398345738957329534
Where can i find a download? I need it now.
Absolutely brilliant, I love that considering The Strokes aren’t an electronic indie band that Julian’s not scared to make such a synth heavy solo album… I love the track and especially the synth bass.

[...] It’s only a matter of time in this day and age before a track is leaked. In this case the news on the song spread like wild fire through the micro blogging site twitter. Even tho the premature/unmastered release of a forthcoming album isn’t cool it is a real treat to get a sneak peek at something that will sure be one of the great music projects of the next few months. The track in question is “11th Dimension” off Julian Casablancas forthcoming “Phrazes For The Young”. It may not be official but your sure to love this. (via weallwantsomeone) [...]
