I drove home today to go togame one of the ALDS between the Yankees and Twins. I’m a diehard Yankee fan encase some of you are still unaware.
It took 2 hours to drive home, and now I gotta head to NYC to get to the beautiful stadium.
I found two more really cool Phoenix remix’s of Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix tracks. The first is more of a cover than anything. It is The Soft Pack’s version of “Fences”, which will be on the Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix Remix Collection. The second remix is not on the remix collection, but it is still a very cool remix!!!!! It is the Shuttle Remix, by Passion Pit’s drummer Nate.
Phoenix wrote this on their blog:
Our good friend Shuttle sent us this fantastic remix of “Love Like A Sunset” and we’d like to share it with all of you. As well as releasing records as shuttle, he also plays drums in Passion Pit as “Nate”! His new album will be out later this year.
He really did something cool with this remix. I am totally digging this!!!! He made this track really danceable! There usually are a bunch of crap remix’s out there, but these latest phoenix ones have been absolute gems!
I am curious to see his album. Maybe he is the secret weapon in Passion Pit all along!

I’m a huge fan of Phoenix. I was very surprised to start hearing them get regular radio play in Toronto. Dont know if you caught Lisztomania in the season finale of Entourage, thought that was also pretty interesting. I’ve been posting some music in the same vein as the guys, would love if you took a look, http://www.aloveahate.com

That Soft Pack remix is F***ing amazing, I loved Phoenix’s first album but it never got this treatment, mores the shame these are some epic tunes!
