I don’t get the craze for these vampire movies. I mean come on, Harry Potter is like 90x better, lets be serious girls.

However, if these movies keep releasing awesome soundtracks with new songs from awesome artists like Thom Yorke and Grizzly Bear, then I won’t complain.

The album is out there (wink wink), and the songs are magnificent. Thom Yorke lays down some trippy vocals over a trip hop influenced beat (think Portishead??) resulting in a chilling effect.

The new Grizzly Bear song has been all over youtube over the last 2 weeks. I was lucky enough to see it performed live with Victoria Legrand when I went to see Grizzly Bear live at Vassar college friday night. The song is amazing.  Starts off really calm, but once that chorus kicks in with Ed Droste….absolute beauty. Both of their voices are too good for words.
