[NEW] Los Campesinos! – There Are Listed Buildings

Los Campesinos! get an A+ in my book just for being so damn hardworking! They have announced that they have a new album coming out next year!!! January, 26th to be exact! The Cardiff, Wales natives are releasing their 3rd album in only 3 years. Now that is impressive!

What is even more impressive is that both of their albums have been of such quality. I have good reason to believe their 3rd album will be no different!

There is not another band that sounds like Los Campesinos! I love their quirky, energetic sound, that is capped off with even more quirky vocals. There songs arrangements are so unusual, but that is part of their beauty.

You can call them, post-punk, twee-rock, alternative, indie. At the end of the day, they are Lost Campesinos! They have proven themselves to be one hell of a band!

The first single off of Romance Is Boring is “There Are Listed Buildings” and it is a wonderfully crafted tune that is easily one of my favorite songs by LC. I really adore this song!

A cool video accompanies the single, watch it below! I also included the tracklisting, and a message from the band about the album!!!

The album was recorded and mixed between March and June of 2009, in Seattle, Connecticut and Monmouthsire, with producer John Goodmanson. It features guest appearances from Jamie Stewart, Zac Pennington and Jherek Bischoff.

It is a record about the death and decay of the human body, sex, lost love, mental breakdown, football and, ultimately, that there probably isn’t a light at the end of the tunnel.

I don’t believe the album is up for pre-order yet, but go buy some merch from these lovely guys and gals at their merch store!
