Vampire Weekend played two surprise shows in LA, and with those shows came 2 new songs that will be on Contra. They are called “Holiday” & “California English”!
Holiday is a pretty chilled out track, with a nice melody. California English comes in iffy sound quality, but it seems like Rostam had his influence on this one. Ezra seems to sing over an auto-tuner type voice instrument that makes him sound like he is doing another Discovery cameo. I will withhold judgment until a good quality recording comes. It sounds pretty adventurous!!
