dude, i linked here from hype machine and just came to snag the miike snow/vw remix, but the frat/sorority talk caught my eye. i went through the same thing my fresh/soph year at oswego and it does kinda blow. but i promise that it completely flip-flops junior and senior year. greek kids become so absorbed in their organizations, drugs, and stds and the non-greeks finally come out of their shells.

its going to get much, much better. for real.

Ha..do you think that your experience is any dissimilar from any private school on the east coast( Haverford, Lehigh, Goucher, Villanova, Dickinson, Gettysburg, Georgetown, George Washington, F&M, Lafayette, and Hobart being my experiences over four years of getting tired of my campus and leaving for weekends trying to find something different) ? “This year it’s all abercrombie & fitch, backwards fitted caps, ugg boots [leggings], and black northfaces” I would add “Lax bros” and Vineyard Vines apparel to that …Your reasoning is fairly sound, thats why I think something like 70% of my school (included) goes abroad their junior year. They go have an easy ass time abroad for a semester/year and have an amazing time traveling, then come back senior year solely because they want to see friends again…get used to it

Haha your school sounds scarily familiar. Do you happen to go to Binghamton?! Bec then I’d agree and know from experience that it totally sucks. Wherever you are, good luck figuring things out, and hope the rest of your year goes better! Oh and thanks for the music lol.

Everything you’re saying is happening to me at UCLA. Everyone here is thinks they’re so great and they’re the complete opposite of what I wish I could be surrounded with. I thought UCLA would have great minds all trying to help one another, but everyone here is all about iphones, drinking and saying “bro” every other second. I hate it here right now, but I just gotta tough it out. It’s hard to make good friends here and it sucks because all my friends live far away and they can rarely visit. I’m thinking about transferring to UCSD or a private school.

My quarter is almost over and what i’m hoping will happen is for better classes next quarter and to meet a girl that can make my days better. Hopefully your next semester goes better.
