Today’s been a chill day. I woke up at about 2pm today. I’m not that much of a bum, relax! I went to bed a little after 8am. God bless thanksgiving break!
Looking at my blog’s gmail, I am almost 2000 emails behind. God these promoters/bands are relentless! You gotta love them though, they are the ones that are keeping my blog alive, right?? School really kills my time for blogging and blog email checking. I could totally use another person, but this blog’s my baby! I really like how I am the only one who posts here. I take pride in it. This is one of the few things that I have done by myself, so it is special! I don’t know if I ever will add another writer….I don’t think my blog is popular enough for that anyway!
I skimmed through some of the email’s and fell in love with one of the bands/songs waiting there. The band’s called Awesome New Republic, and the song is titled “Dark Water”. The song is titled appropriately. “Dark Water” sounds dark and haunting. It would be perfect for a slow, murky, trip through dark waters. The song is very vocal based, with strong lead vocals & appropriate backing vocals. Awesome New Republic use just enough electronic effects in the song, perfectly complimenting everything else. It’s off their sophomore record Hearts, which you can buy from insound.
I’m hooked, feed me some more Awesome New Republic!

I’d say We All Want Someone is definitely big enough for another writer but I know exactly what you mean about doing it on your own.
I think it’s more a case of trust than anything. Would a new writer have the same passion and care for the blog as you do?
Although Indiescreet is way way way less popular or well known We All Want Someone I’ve been thinking about other writers so I can concentrate on other aspects of the blog such as promotion etc… I’ve got mixed feelings so far so you’ll have to let me know your experience if you do decide to grab another writer.
Been loving this song, it’s a mix of delicate and eerie and driving all in one.
And thanks for the kind words to us, Will – much appreciated!
