I think it's more a case of trust than anything. Would a new writer have the same passion and care for the blog as you do? Although Indiescreet is way way way less popular or well known We All Want Someone I've been thinking about other writers so I can concentrate on other aspects of the blog such as promotion etc... I've got mixed feelings so far so you'll have to let me know your experience if you do decide to grab another writer.
