The year is winding down as December begins to fade away along with the rest of 2009. I am going to use a lot of my free time during winter break to catch up on albums and figure out what my best of albums of 2009 are!
I’ve been digging my teeth into Real Estate‘s s/t debut album as of late, and what a nice little gem of an album it is! The NJ band have been building up a solid stream of buzz for themselves over the past few years, and things fell into place for them quite nicely!
Real Estate have gotten plenty of love on the big indie sites/blogs, but I can see these guys getting even bigger over the next few months!
They have a sound that borders between lo-fi garage, and clean summer fun!
