If you read my blog semi-regularly, you may have noticed that I (finally!) posted about the elusive band jj the other day. If not, they are a band that I am totally digging right now! I scooped out the interweb some more and found a song called “baby”. “Baby” is a cover of a song by a band called Lorentz & M.Sakarias. The song is featured on their limited From Africa To Malaga 12 inch vinyl!
With that said, I am excited to inform you that jj’s 2nd album is going to be released next year! jj are some hard working musicians!

I am even more excited to relay another new song from GVB! It’s called “5 minuter med jj” and it is a chill sample friendly song! I love the bit where they use the xx’s “intro”! Brilliant!

i’m waiting for someone to post their new song “Pure Shoes” seeing as its only available on the vinyl re-release of jj n° 2 (jj n° 2.1) and i don’t have a turntable (yet)

I just have to say that the song is probably not called “5 minuter med jj”. “5 minuter med” (“5 minutes with”) is a recurrent segment on Swedish Radios P3, where they let musicians and other famous people do whatever they want with 5 minutes of radio time. Today the segment featured jj, and they chose to play this song, therefore today’s segment was called “5 minuter med jj”. They did not say that “5 minuter med jj” was the name of the song, but neither did they say that it is called anything else. I think it’s probably untitled atm. Just trying to clear things up.
Hey Hanna, thats what chris from gorillavsbear put, I figured he knew what he was talking about. Your probably right though, I don’t think it has a title yet, that was just what Chris decided to use as the title for his post!
Please someone post Pure Shores (I’m hoping it’s a version of All Saints classic) and The Truth. I too don’t have a turntable anymore and I’d hate to miss out another joyous jj tune.
