[NEW] Shout Out Louds – 1999 / Fall Hard

Got a quick one for you today. Sorry for the wait for the top 50 songs/top albums of 2009. I have been really busy over the last few days with visiting friends, going to the city for concerts, and spending time with my girlfriend. The blog will kick into full force soon!

The Shout Out Louds are releasing their new album Work on Feb 23rd, and I have two songs that I would like to share with you. The first is album opener 1999, the second is the albums first single “Fall Hard”. Both songs are delightful pieces of pop rock that you shouldn’t be surprised to hear from these Sweedish guys & gals!

Both are clean pieces of pop rock with Belle & Sebastian-like vocals and Phoenix instrumentation. These guys basically tell lo-fi to fuck off while they stick to their clean pop roots. They really know how to write a mean chorus! Gotta love the Swedish pop!
