How much is Radiohead worth??? – Ok, we already played that game with In Rainbows! This time the legendary rockers are allowing fans to put the price on tickets. It isn’t going to work to the advantage of the middle class this time. The band is auctioning off tickets for a benefit show for the horrible earthquake in Hati. The show is this Sunday, January 24, at the Music Box at the Fonda in LA.
Phil posted the following over at Dead Air Space :
We’re doing a show this Sunday (24th January) to raise funds for the relief effort in Haiti. The venue is The Music Box Theatre at The Fonda in Los Angeles, doors at 7pm. All proceeds are going to the Oxfam Haiti relief fund. We’re trying to raise as much money as possible, so tickets will be sold by auction at this site from 8pm tonight until 11am Saturday (PST):

We’re in the middle of recording at the moment, so you’ll be catching us on the fly…. but if you’re up for it, then we are too.
See you then

Good luck to all you rich LA people on grabbing tickets to this one. This show is going to be pretty great! You gotta tip my cap to Radiohead for doing this!

I would so try, but bidding started less than four hours ago and the tickets are already up to $250 a piece. I need to save my money for Coachella.
