The Killers = Indefinite Hiatus

Hot damn, this sucks! The Killers have announced that they are going to take an indefinite hiatus from touring/making music for a while. They announced that their last show on Feb 21st would be their last for a while.

Paste Magazine posted the article and I got a really bad vibe about their future from the article. It hinted towards the band being done for good, and Brandon Flowers going solo.

The Killers are one of my favorite mainstream rock acts, and I would hate to see them go. I hope that this break allows them to come back stronger than ever whenever they do come back together. I think they need a little time off!

    You should install a “like” button so I don’t have to leave comments on articles like this.

    Like someone said above, The Killers really mean a lot to me. My favorite band, with no doubt.

    I hope this hiatus doesn’t last so much like the one Strokes had.
    However I’m sure they’ll take good things from this time off. They really need to rest, I guess! And I hope one day I can attend one more concert…

    ps. Nice post Will. The idea of a “like” button is great! Think about it!

    Clambert, I interpreted Will to mean that he liked the idea of this band going on hiatus.

    I haven’t been particularly into the Killers since Hot Fuss, but for what they are, I think they’re quite good. Better than a lot of music with that same level of exposure.

    I’ll have to look into a like button! And @some bloke, I don’t like the idea of them going on hiatus. If anything I am just hoping it causes the band to one day come back refreshed and ready to make great music again!

    @Will

    I think he meant a different Will, like the one from comment 2.
