Grizzly Bear are one of the true treasures in today’s music world. After releasing albums such as Yellow House, Veckatimest, and Horn Of Plenty, it is safe to say they are one of my favorite bands on the 2000′s. Not many artists can compare to Grizzly Bear’s phenomenal discography. The scary thing is, they are really just getting started!
They recently showed their great ability as musicians when they covered Hot Chip’s electro-rock classic “Boy From School” for the Australian radio station Triple J. Grizzly Bear effortlessly transformed the song to their own unique folky style. Beautiful vocals, clean harmonies, and a sense of familiarity. The song sounds like it is their own, and I gotta say, that is quite the feat considered they crossed genres.
This is a great cover, one that you should not miss.I saw it at I Guess I’m Floating and have been listening it to in on replay for the last 30 minutes. I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon!

Okay, I love your blog, but do you really need to end every other sentence with an exclamation point (or 3)? No offense, because really, I read this blog everyday and it’s great. But lately I’ve found myself skipping to the mp3 instead of reading the article because of the exclamation points. You’re a good writer but using exclamation points takes away from the writing. Maybe I’m out of line, this is your blog, but I’d love you hear your thoughts.
Cheers, Rob

Hey Rob,
I won’t lie, sometimes I need to proofread a lot more. Yesterday was one of those days where I had a lot of stuff that I wanted to post and I sorta rushed it out there without checking for errors.
Truth be told, I didn’t even realize that I was using that many exclamation points. I guess I’m often too enthusiastic for my own good. I was so excited to share the song, that I got a bit ahead of myself.
No offense is taken, and no, you are not out of line at all. I rather have you be honest with me about anything I am doing wrong. I rather have you comment and point it out than let me get out of hand with my mistakes. I truly do appreciate that you pointed this out to me, and made me aware because if you didn’t, I would have no idea.
I value the readership of all of you guys and I also value constructive criticism. It’s the only way to get better. So thanks a lot Rob.
