I really wanted to try and like this, but there isn’t a lot of substance here. The closest to music this gets has an opera like singer over it, and the rest honestly just sounds like noises.

Yeah, I listened to this album a couple times yesterday, and I feel like it is not my favorite piece the knife has done. However there are three or four stand out songs, like the title track and colouring pigeons. Those songs might make it worth checking out to others.
