Arctic Monkeys – Spring US Tour 2010

Arctic Monkeys are coming back to the US! However they aren’t hitting up the big spots. This tour is more dedicated to the locations that they missed before! That a boys, covering your tracks! However, I am dissapointed that they are not playing ANYWHERE near me. Although, I am debating making a 4 hour drive down to Maryland to see them. If I do that, I’m going to make it my mission to finally meet the band!!

Anyway, here are their new tour dates for April:

April

1st April   Fillmore Miami Beach at Jackie, Miami Beach, Florida
2nd April  The Ritz, Tampa, Florida
3rd April   Hard Rock Live, Orlando, Florida
5th April   40 Watt Club, Athens, Georgia
6th April   Disco Rodeo, Raleigh, North Carolina
7th April   Rams Head Live, Baltimore, Maryland
9th April   Madison Theatre, Covington, Kentucky
11th April The Pageant, St. Louis, Missouri
12th April Liberty Hall, Lawrence, Kansas
13th April Cain’s Ballroom, Tulsa, Oklahoma
15th April The Marquee, Tempe, Arizona

Tickets go onsale from the 12th February. For more information, go to the Arctic’s gigs page.

The Arctic’s are prepping the release of their 3rd single “My Propeller”, due out March 22nd. Keep a look out here for new songs/purchase info!!!!

Does anyone else think they’ll use the 6 weeks between their current tour and April’s to record their next album? Turner said they wanted to record again right away.

I hope so! I did read that they wanted to record the next one relatively soon. I also heard it’s a pretty faced paced record, so that’s pretty cool! I hope your right!!
