“Moonless March” starts off with a thunderous drum beat, and turns into a delight for any true fan of rhythm. Add in Aloha’s ever so delicious vibrant synth’s to the mix and you got a winner. Aloha are known for their delightful music pop music that creatives sunny atmospheres and delivers memorable harmonies. Love the instrumental bridge towards the end, total synth pop/rock glory! They still do that on “Moonless”, and very much so. It’s just now the band has been around for over 10 years, and is sounding like a more confident band ready to start the new decade off right.

Aloha’s new album is called Home Acres, and it is going to be released on March 9th on PolyVinyl Records. “Waterwheel” see’s some very strong vocals from the band’s lead singer Tony Cavallario and a clean uplifting sound from the band. Production values have always been pretty high for Aloha, but it seems like they really put it at the forefront here.

You can Pre-Order Home Acres right here. I think this is going to creep on a lot of people as one of 2010’s best, if these songs are an indication of what else to expect on Home Acres.
