I don’t if I deserve this but I do know I want it.
It has always been said of Sade that it all sounds the same (but we like it). I like to think that Sade simply created a sound that only she can deliver much in the same way that only the Ramones defined the Ramones sound.
The song “Soldier Of Love” sounds like Sade but totally contemporary. Only a great artist can be this consistent.
    Best wishes, -K

I deserve this for a very strong and specific reason. I have just set up my fathers old turntable to some beautiful speakers and I am very excited. I would looooove to experience this beautiful record on those speakers….. All I have mostly is some of his old, old collections (We are talking little river band) and I would cherish it very much. Hell, I would probably keep it somewhere for years to come so if I ever have a son he can open an old box up one day and ask me what that is. Hopefully he will enjoy it and see something about music when I was younger.

Thanks so much for the opportunity. God Bless.
    Sincerely, Keegan

I think I deserve this vinyl because of a comment I posted a few months ago which you seem to have taken to heart. In the comment, I told you that I wished you would cut down on the exclamation points… and look at that, only one exclamation point in this article. I really think the cut down on the hyperbole as improved your writing. Oh, and Sade is awesome.

I think I deserve this one, because it would become my very first vinyl record I will own. I was always interested in getting some vinyl records and start playing them, not something you might expect from an 18-year old person. I just hope my dad lets my use his player until I get my own.

I deserve this vinyl because I 4] am a Soldier of Love for Sade and all she does. 3] I probably account for a good # of the visits to your site. I’m here checking for updates throughout the day. I’d say at least 5 and at most 20 times I have checked it in a day, no lie. 2] and last but not least, if the planets aligned perfectly and Megan Fox all of a sudden fell in love with me, I would tell her that Will Oliver is a much better choice. 1] oh yeah, it would also be a great addition to my vinyl which is mostly my dad’s bruce springsteen and old disco records.

i think i deserve it will,as i am probably the only person who reads your blog who is old enough to remember when sade started out back in the early eighties with ‘your love is king’ etc. that voice has always captivated me anfd she demands to be heard. as incredible as it seems, her voice has improved with age, and her life experience really comes out now with every note.
    long live sade….

i haggle vinyl at estate sales (estatesales.net) for fifty cents because a dollar at salvation army is too much. (tip to NJ viewers: vinyl is half off at top of the barn on first saturdays of the month) does new vinyl smell as good as my new car tree shaped air freshner? either way, give it the most deserving posts, i just wanted a forum to share where to get more for almost free.

I avoided this offer from Sony (Sade doesn’t seem to fit Indie Shuffle), but these are some of the best comments I have seen on a competition! Good luck picking a winner, Will.

I deserve it for exactly the opposite of all the reasons outlined below. Thank you.

Being one of the few funk/blues,world latina dj who still plays vinyl, this would be a very precious piece to my collection. I grew up listening to her, play here almost everyday, and she is one of those artist that I get request for. Also, you are helping my empty wallet.

Stuff like this won’t even reach this side of the globe. i want it. owning vinyl here would even be considered elitist because of the rarity of vinyls. there are shops, antique shops that is, just depleting their stocks. there is only one shop in the whole country that sells decent vinyls ( 2nd hand japan edition vinyls) and it is even fused with a book store, it’s called “fully booked”. there are less than 10 branches in the whole country and all of them are located in Manila, the capital city. prices start at 1500pesos to 8000 pesos ($30-$150) for up to date vinyls, a month’s worth of my money. if i was to order Sade from them it would take more than 3 months to arrive, plus shipping, plus taxes, plus the retail price of the store. i’m a 21 year old music student, please help me out. this would be the very first up to date vinyl i will ever own. fml.
