This is a really well done interview with ABC’s Dan Harris where Julian talks about The Strokes history, as well as their current recording situation. I am ying to hear a sample or something already.
Julian said the album sounds somewhat like First Impressions, although he may try to…funk it up.

This interview kind of makes Julian come off as a jerk, probably wouldn’t be too happy with it if I was him. Love that he thinks the band has to track without him in order to get a good album. Seems like he just doesn’t care about how the album turns out, and that he can just come in and sing and the album will be perfect.

I really like Julian and The Strokes, but geez, he seriously needs to get a stylist or something because red pants, a leather jacket, feathers in his hair, and those stupid sunglasses just make him look ridiculous.
