Stars are one of many bands that I have on my imaginary list for bands I have been meaning to check out, but have never gotten to. I have heard nothing but praise for the Canadian 5 piece. The only song that I have heard from them is “The Night Starts Here”, and I loved it.
The Montreal based band is set to release their fifth album, The Five Ghosts. To get their fans (who I hear are very, very, loyal) excited, they gave away the song “Fixed” for free download. The song is a pretty piece of work that Amy Millan sings with grace and affection. It is only motivates me to dig into more of Stars work, which I will probably embark on later tonight after Lost.

Your Ex-Lover is Dead is their best song, off Set Yourself on Fire. Should definitely start there, I think.

Calendar Girl from Set Yourself On Fire is the song that had me hooked to Stars. In Our Bedroom After the War I personally think is one of their best songs.
