June 22nd is the date of Eminem’s new album Recovery. He originally planned for a sequel for Relapse but he scrapped that idea and instead apparently recovered, hence the new title.
When asked about his dismissal of Relapse 2, Eminem had this to say:
“I had originally planned for Relapse 2 to come out last year, but as I kept recording and working with new producers, the idea of a sequel to Relapse started to make less and less sense to me, and I wanted to make a completely new album. The music on Recovery came out very different from Relapse, and I think it deserves its own title.”
I hope that this new series allows Eminem to find new motivation which will probably result in some of his freshest material in years. I’m begging you Em, we all truly miss the old you. Get angry again!

“Get Angry Again”
I agree with this, I feel he was done his best stuff when angry. I ‘m not a big fan of his celebrity satire songs such as “Just Lose It” and “We Made You” but songs like “Sing For The Moment” and obviously “Lose Yourself”.

I so agree that he need to get angry again. I really miss the old Eminem, he was really something… I mean, Relapse was good, sort of, but it didn’t come close to his old songs, like Mockingbird and When I’m Gone. Those are definitely classics, are truly unforgettable. I hope his new album will be more like his older stuff.

Hey everybody honestly i loved all eminems songs he is my idol and i think he can do what he wants wit his music cuz no matta wat it always turns out good i mean songs like “lose yourself”, “Beautiful”,”till i collapse” and his new song “Not afraid” speak to me and help me get through all the drama im goin through right now wit my family and especially my step dad who is addicted to pain killers and hasn’t been himself in years. but also other songs like “Just lose it”,”Without me”, “Medicine Ball” and “Must be the ganja” are great for a laugh and to party. and “My darling”, “Music Box”, “Kim”,”"Stay Wide Awake”, and “Soldier” are the most crazy, lunatic songs i’ve eva heard but lol they say exactly how i feel about my life or my family or my girl at the time lol i mean in some ways i feel like my and eminem are allot alike but i know that hes been through worse then me but i still feel connected to him in a way cuz we both went through the same stuff wit our dads and now my step dad is startin to change into someone i dont like and dont recognize!
