[new]: Born Ruffians – What To Say

By Will, April 16th 2010 — with 3 comments Covers MP3

Where is all the love for Born Ruffians? They are gearing up to release their sophomore album Say It on June 1st via Warp. I seriously think people need to start getting excited. We already got a taste of the album with “Sole Brother“, and now you can listen to the first single from the album, “What To Say”.

“What To Say” is a jangly shimmering delight that shows that Born Rffuains have experienced a lot of growth since Red, Yellow & Blue was released. The band has really impressed me with the high quality of songs released from Say It it so far.

Stream “What To Say” alongside the band’s energetic cover of Grizzly Bear’s “Knife” below:

Excellent band. Saw them last month and they played a bunch of new tracks. New stuff is a lot different than Red Yellow and Blue.
