PMA points out that the song reworks Jeremih’s 2009 hit single “Birthday Sex”. jj takes the song and turns it into a beauty. They certain have incredible musical talent, but let’s hope they can translate that to their live shows.

I actually had a friend who saw jj live when going to see The xx, and she said they were amazing. Maybe it was just that one show?? Either way, I hate when bands do that. Hopefully you’ll get another chance to see them in a different light. Who knows. It’s hard to get a taste like that out of your mouth once you’ve seen them…
