I love when I discover cool new bands from my blog’s email. This is what happened this morning when I found The Shondes. They are a female fronted 4 piece from Brooklyn who are not to be missed. Their songs are packed with smart arrangements and engaging melodies that are driven by well-timed usage of the violin.
Do you have a broken heart that needs to be mended? Well I think The Shondes new album My Dear One is the perfect melody for you my friend. Their songs written and played with full focus on emotions and pain. They wrote the album after dealing with plenty of it themselves. I trust them. Dim the lights, put on your finest pair of headphones, and off you go.
