MGMT Play SNL

I was too busy rocking out with the morning benders on Saturday night, so I completely forgot and missed MGMT’s performance on SNL. Thankfully the internet exists and the video’s are online.

The band played “Flash Delirium” & “Brian Eno”. They sounded good! I’m pretty sure MGMT are a band that would benifit from smaller club/venue shows rather than festivals and stadiums. But maybe that is just me?

I saw MGMT at ACL in 2008 and they sounded great, despite the vocals being so-so at times. But I agree, I bet smaller shows would be the best.

I really like Brian Eno (the song and the producer/musician) but the rest of the album seemed borring. And the vocals are kind of iffy. But I enjoyed the performance.
