The new Twilight movie, Eclipse, pulled in great indie artists to provide sounds for its soundtrack. We are getting new songs from artists like Vampire Weekend, The Dead Weather, Band Of Horses, and a collab between Beck and Bat For Lashes. Never seen any of the films, but cheers to them for bringing decent tunes.

These movies are kinda lame, but the music is always awesome. And I’m okay with that. I just hope that in ten years they’ll be known for their music and not their terrible plots.

I’m a TwiFan, but I always tell the ppl who aren’t to peep the soundtracks. They’re seriously fantastic. Skip the movies, the books, the fandom, whatever, but pick up the soundtracks.

The movies are really lame, the new sdtk looks pretty lame as well, save for the possible Beck & Bat for Lashes.
