Last week I posted about the rumored new single from Arcade Fire called The Suburbs/Month Of May. Turns out that the rumors were true. Yesterday, Arcade Fire updated their website with a mini record player with two brief song snippets of the aforementioned songs, The Suburbs/Month Of May.
“The Suburbs” sounds like a sunny little number, while “Month Of May” features an upbeat guitar riff that is more along the vein of Eagles Of Death Metal, but it certainly has caught my interest.
The clips are very brief and feature vinyl cracks and snaps, making the listening process just that much more authentic. Can’t wait to hear the songs in full!
