A few days ago my buddy Rogo posted a new Muse song called “Neutron Star Collision (Love Is Forever)”. It was an exclusive single that the band gave away to the Twilight: Eclipse movie. I strangely didn’t care to check it out until now. I used to be a pretty big fan of Muse, but ever since the release of The Resistance it seems as though I am not as crazy about them as I used to be That isn’t to say that I don’t still listen to Muse. But I admit, I don’t revisit them as much as I used to. Times change, people change, tastes change. I am certainly not the same person I was when Absolution came out in 2003, or even the 16 year old when Black Holes & Revelations came out. Muse will always find a way back into my speakers.

I finally checked out “Neutron Star Collision (Love Is Forever)”, and I gotta say, it ain’t half bad. Bombastic and dramatic, but would you expect any less from Muse? It’s a fun song, and it helps to take the mind off things every once and a while.
