Right now you can stream “Jonathan Low”, a brand new song from Vampire Weekend. It is a song that the band gave to the soundtrack for the new Twlight film: Eclipse. I’m really impressed with it.
Apparently the band described the track as a contrast from their recent material, and I gotta agree with them. It’s different from anything the band has done. Sure there are plenty of familar Vampire Weekend elements at play, but you can hear the band developing it’s sound even further with some interesting sounds and transitions. Rostam even plays a 12 string guitar. Give it a try:
