Holy shit! According to BrooklynVegan, Arcade Fire are going to play the legendary Madison Square Garden on August 4th. Remember, the bands new album The Suburbs is being released on August 3rd, so it will pretty much be an album release show for the band.
The crazy part is that Spoon, is opening. This is pretty mind boggling. Spoon have been around so much longer, but I guess it shows just how popular Arcade Fire really are. I will be there in the pit, no matter what I have to do. I hope to see you all there. This show is going to be pretty legendary.go
Tickets will go on AmEx presale on June 9th, Fanclub presale on June 10th and general sale on June 12th. UPDATE: There will be a pre-sale for the MSG show at the band’s website tomorrow @ 10AM.
