I don’t know where I was when this happened. Remember the band Group, that I posted about? Well they changed their name to the Grouplove, just in time for the release of their self titled debut EP which was released back on May 6th. I just bought it on iTunes, based off of how strong their song “Colours” is. I don’t know how I let this one get by me!
The EP has 4 songs in additional to Colours, and they’re all delightful songs that are ready to impress. For such a young band, these guys sound like they have been playing together for years. If you aren’t singing along to “Colours” or impressed by the sunny melody in “Don’t Say Oh Well”, you are missing out my friends. Sample both of the songs below. “Colours” certainly deserves to be on many best of lists this year:

If you like it, be sure to buy it on iTunes or Amazon. Every song on this EP is really strong, and has some pretty incredible moments. It’s well worth your 5 bucks.
